Ingredients for Dorito Casserole in the Microwave

You just need a few ingredients:

  • Nacho Cheese Doritos – 9-10 oz bag
  • 15 oz can chili, no beans
  • 3/4 cup milk or evaporated milk – You can use regular milk, but I like using evaporated for the flavor.
  • 1 can Campbell’s Cheddar Cheese Soup – You can also use 1 cup of cubed Velveeta.
  • 1/4 cup salsa – use your preferred level of heat – mild, medium, hot, etc.
  • 8 oz shredded cheese – I recommend either a mixture of cheese like cheddar jack, colby jack, or just sticking with a cheese with bite like sharp cheddar.

Microwave on HIGH for about 3-4 minutes. Check the center, if it’s still cold, microwave another 2-3 minutes.

The baking process softens the Doritos, so if you want that crunch, I recommend adding another layer of crushed Doritos on top, if desired.
