What ingredients do you need to make a Dorito Casserole in the Microwave?

You just need a few ingredients:
- Nacho Cheese Doritos – 9-10 oz bag
- 15 oz can chili, no beans
- 3/4 cup milk or evaporated milk – You can use regular milk, but I like using evaporated for the flavor.
- 1 can Campbell’s Cheddar Cheese Soup – You can also use 1 cup of cubed Velveeta.
- 1/4 cup salsa – use your preferred level of heat – mild, medium, hot, etc.
- 8 oz shredded cheese – I recommend either a mixture of cheese like cheddar jack, colby jack, or just sticking with a cheese with bite like sharp cheddar.
How do you make a Dorito Casserole in the Microwave?

In a medium bowl combine the chili, evaporated milk, salsa, and cheese soup. Mix until it is well combined.

In a 7 x 11 microwave-safe baking dish, spray the sides and bottom with non-stick oil spray.

Crush enough Doritos to cover the bottom of the pan. Don’t crush them until they are crumbs, just small broken chip sizes.

Pour half the chili mixture over the Doritos.

Sprinkle cheese over the chili mixture.

Add another layer of Doritos on top of the cheese.

Pour the second half of the chili mixture over the top.

Sprinkle with cheese.
Microwave on HIGH for about 3-4 minutes. Check the center, if it’s still cold, microwave another 2-3 minutes.
The baking process softens the Doritos, so if you want that crunch, I recommend adding another layer of crushed Doritos on top, if desired.
Serve with favorite taco toppings such as:
- shredded lettuce
- tomatoes
- onions
- cilantro
- jalapenos
- sour cream
