Ingredients to make Honey Chicken in the Microwave

  • Air Fried Chicken Nuggets – You can use any precooked chicken. I like to use either air fryer chicken nuggets or popcorn chicken.
  • Corn Starch
  • Soy Sauce
  • Orange Juice
  • Honey

How to make Microwave Honey Chicken

This dish goes perfectly with making rice in the microwave. Grab this easy microwave rice recipe to pair perfectly with honey chicken for a simpy delicious meal for those busy nights.

In a 12 x 12 microwave-safe baking combine all the ingredients except chicken.

Cook uncovered on HIGH for 2 to 3 minutes or until the mixture is thickened and bubbly.

Place the chicken in a single layer into the sauce and heat for an additional 3 minutes on HIGH.

Gently stir the chicken into the sauce, so it’s evenly coated.

Prepare white steamed rice or fried rice and serve the chicken over the top.

If you have fresh green onions, they are perfect to put over this dish. I also like to shake sesame seeds over the top.

Serve immediately.
