- egg yolks
- butter
- lemon juice
- ground mustard
- mayonnaise
- salt and pepper
How to make Hollandaise Sauce in the Microwave
Separate the egg yolks into a microwave-safe bowl. Discard the egg whites, or save for later.
Whisk the egg yolks.
Whisk together the egg yolks, mayonnaise, lemon juice, ground mustard, and salt and pepper.
Melt the butter for 20-30 seconds.
As you whisk the egg mixture, gradually add in the butter until it’s completely incorporated.
Heat for 15-20 seconds on HIGH, and whisk again until smooth and creamy.
Drizzle over your meal.
Enjoy!
