This is the perfect individual-sized pizza for one. You’ll go from making it from scratch to eating in less than 5 minutes.

Kids love this pizza because they can help make it, and I have found when my kids make their own food, they eat the entire thing without complaining.

Have you heard of a Microwave Toaster?

I discovered a Microwave Toaster, and I am freaking in love with this thing. It allows you to brown and crisp up the pizza crust for this homemade pizza.

You won’t believe the things it can make. You can make a crispy delicious grilled cheese in the microwave just like you would on the stove! And, don’t even get me started on the quesadillas I’ve made in this thing.

Place the top of the microwave toaster on to it and seal the sides.

Microwave for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes. This should brown and crisp up the dough. If you want it really crispy try an additional 15-30 seconds.

When it’s done, remove the pizza crust from the microwave toaster and place on a plate or parchment paper.

How do you make a Homemade Pizza without the Microwave Toaster?

You can still do it. It will just be a more biscuit-like dough versus a pizza-like dough.

Roll the pizza dough into a circular shape about 1/4 inch thick.

Rolled out pizza crust.

Place it on parchment paper and heat for 40-45 seconds.

Check for doneness. It should be bread-like without any raw dough.

Spread the sauce around the pizza.

Sprinkle the cheese.

Add your favorite toppings.

Heat for 30-40 seconds in the microwave, until the cheese is completely melted.

Can you make the pizza dough ahead of time?

You can definitely make the raw dough ahead of time, but I would wait to cook it until you are ready to make your entire pizza.

Can I substitute other oil for olive oil?

Yes, I have used canola oil and just regular vegetable oil when I’ve been out of the olive oil, and it works great.
