How to make Monster Eye Halloween Pretzels in the Microwave

It’s almost Halloween time, and these Monster Eye Halloween Pretzels you can make with just the microwave! Just melt some candy melts in the microwave and add candy eyeballs for a simple 5-minute treat the kids (and adults) will love! This post contains affiliate links.

Your kids can totally make this treat with just some adult supervision. These are perfect to take to the class Halloween party wrapped in cellophane bags!

What do you need to make Monster Eye Halloween Pretzels?

How do you make Monster Eye Halloween Pretzels?

Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

Add each of the candy melt colors to separate microwave-safe bowls.

Dipping a pretzel rod into the green candy melts.

Do this separately for each candy melt color. Heat for 30 seconds at a time and then stir. Continue heating for 30 seconds at a time, removing from heat, and stirring well between each heating session, until fully melted.

Dip a pretzel rod into the melted candy, and use a spoon to help coat half of the pretzel.

Set on the parchment lined baking sheet, and immediately place 3 candy eyeballs on the candy coating. Repeat until you have coated all of the pretzels.

Pop in the freezer for 10-15 minutes or set on the counter for 1 hour so that the candy can harden.

Can you make these pretzels ahead of time?

Absolutely! Just store them in an air tight container, so they don’t get stale.

I would recommend making a couple days ahead of time.
