Monster Mash Cereal
Have you seen the special edition Monster Mash cereal? It’s found with the Halloween treats or the cereal aisle and it’s from the people who make Count Chocula and Franken Berry and Boo Berry. It’s little green ghosts that taste kinda fruity, like Froot Loops. I bought it at Target and I’ve seen it at Walmart.
Ingredients to make Monster Mash Treats
- Monster Mash cereal
- Marshmallows
- Butter
How to make Monster Mash Marshmallow Treats
Prepare a 9 x 13 casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray.
In a large microwave-safe bowl, add the butter. Heat for 30 seconds or until completely melted.
Add the marshmallows and give them a stir to coat them in the butter.
Heat in 30-45 second increments until the marshmallows turn to goo and it’s smooth and creamy.
Add the cereal to the marshmallows and stir.
TIP: Using a spoon or spatula to stir? Spray it with non-stick cooking oil spray and the marshmallow goo will not get stuck to it as you stir it up.
Transfer the mixture to the casserole dish and press it into it.
Allow to cool for at least an hour until cutting into squares.
